JSI as a starting non-profit oriented project cannot offer financial awards to the contributors at the moment. Submitted articles will be reviewed by the editorial board members and the experts from our expanding pool of reviewers. Contributions may be rejected or returned for necessary amendments.

Instructions for sending submissions:

• Please submit the articles to the following e-mail address: jsiss@jsiss.net
• Please always fill the “subject” line of the e-mail.
• Please submit thematically relevant articles only – see the profile of the journal (technology/military history-oriented contributions will be rejected).
• The journal reserves the right to format the article’s graphics.
• Please contact the editors prior to submitting in case of special issues.

Instructions for submissions’ format:

• The Length
  
  • 27 000 - 54 000 letters for studies
  • 5400 - 18 000letters for review essays
  • 3600 - 9000letters for reviews
  • The footnotes are included, bibliography is not.
    
• Citation standards and bibliography
  • Footnotes should remain at the corresponding page, not at the end of the text.
  • Rank the bibliographic sources in alphabetical order.
  • Use the APA citation and referencing style. Available here.

  • Summary (100 words max) and keywords (5 min) must be attached to each contribution.
